Disney Adventure sails from Singapore in 2025: 1st Disney cruise ship to homeport in Asia

If you wish to visit Neverland but are afraid of boarding the pirate ship The Jolly Roger, you will have an alternative next year. The Disney Adventure cruise ship will set sail from Singapore’s Marina Bay Cruise Centre starting in 2025. It will offer 3- and 4-night voyages.

Disney Adventure joins Disney Cruise Line’s fleet of 5 ships, alongside 2 others  the Disney Treasure and Disney Destiny — that are on the way.

The 208,000-gross-ton Disney Adventure, set to be the largest ship in Disney’s fleet, can carry about 6,700 passengers and 2,500 crew, according to Disney Cruise Line.

The cruise ship calling Singapore its home port is part of a 5-year partnership between the Singapore Tourism Board and Disney Cruise Line. This was announced by then-Minister of Trade Relations S. Iswaran in 2023.

Disney Adventure will be the first Disney cruise ship to home-port in Asia. The company’s cruises sail to the Caribbean, Europe, New Zealand and Australia.

“We’re bringing the magic of Disney Cruise Line to Asia for the first time. We want to give our guests the cruise relaxation and Disney fun they can only experience aboard one of our ships,” said Sharon Siskie, senior vice president and General Manager, Disney Cruise Line.

What’s on the Disney Adventure cruise ship?

Guests will be able to experience 7 themed areas. Each contains characters from popular franchises such as Toy Story, Finding Nemo and The Avengers.

Other themed areas include San Fransokyo Street from Big Hero 6. Here, families can play interactive games, shop and watch movies.

Children and teenagers will have dedicated recreational spaces. Adults will be able to enjoy fine dining, lounge and spa experiences.

Disney Cruise Line declined to disclose ticket prices. The company, however, said that details of the vessel’s maiden voyage will be announced later.
